Who We Are

Mother Nature Pet Supply supports adoption and local animal shelters, spay and neuter programs, TNR (trap-neuter-release) of ferals, and rescue efforts. We work to supply the highest quality, desirable and necessary products to our customers, and we will donate a portion of our net profits directly to these programs. Our goal is to support adoption initiatives by hosting shelter animals on site and working to find them forever homes.

Our Business

Mother Nature Pet Supply is an independent retail store in Manlius, NY that provides health conscious products for pets, to help promote the quality and longevity of the pet’s life. We strive to continuously learn about the best nutritional options for pets, to help educate pet owners on the healthiest choices available. We carry high quality and durable accessories, toys and bedding. We carry natural alternatives and solutions to the needs of pet owners and their pets. We offer earth friendly products. We proudly seek out and carry products that are made in the USA.

Our Family

Our family is made up of Dave and me, our two teenage boys, and my grandmother, along with our 6 wonderful pets. We started this business, out of love for our pets and all animals, and with the support of our children.

Darcy - Our senior dog, is a 14 year old female husky mix with one brown eye and one blue. Darcy was adopted by Dave from the Schuyler County Animal Shelter. She was abused by her previous owner and removed from the home. She was very scared and nervous when Dave first brought her home. His patience and love helped her trust again and become the great dog we have today. She is pictured in our logo.

Gracie Jane - Our senior cat, is also 14 years old, and is the other star pictured in our logo. Grace was an only child until Darcy moved in, and it was a very difficult adjustment. Time has made them great friends, and paved the way for our family to grow.

Sancho - Our little 5 toed male, was adopted from the CNY SPCA. This curious and comical polydactyl is so loving and sweet. He wants to be everyone's friend!

Buddy - Our 3 year old male Plott hound mix was adopted from Helping Hounds, a wonderful rescue organization in Manlius, NY. Buddy was rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. Helping Hounds saved his life, and we are so thankful!

Edith - Our shy girl. Edith was abandoned outside in the winter. We brought her in and made every effort to find her owners, but no one claimed her. Being homeless made her very shy and scared. After a year, she has really warmed up and become a loving part of the family.

Bear - Abandoned in the woods, this little baby was lucky enough to be found and rescued. Bear is an adorable Pitbull/Boxer mix who was adopted through Helping Hounds. He is the newest member of our family.
